Value of High-Quality Process, ANSI and API Magnetic Coupled Pumps
There are several reasons why high-quality process, ANSI and API magnetic coupled pumps are valuable investments for companies. These types of pumps offer numerous benefits such as increased safety, reliability, and efficiency.
Safety
One of the main advantages of using high-quality process, ANSI and API magnetic coupled pumps is their enhanced safety features. These pumps eliminate the need for traditional shaft seals, which are often a source of leaks and potential hazards in industrial settings. The magnetic coupling allows for a completely sealed system, preventing any fluid leakage or contamination. This not only protects the environment but also ensures the safety of workers and equipment.
Moreover, these types of pumps do not require external lubrication, eliminating the risk of oil spills or fires caused by lubrication failures. This makes them ideal for use in hazardous or sensitive environments, such as chemical processing plants and nuclear power plants.
Reliability
Another significant benefit of high-quality process, ANSI and API magnetic coupled pumps is their reliability. Traditional pumps with shaft seals are prone to wear and tear over time, leading to decreased efficiency and potential breakdowns. In contrast, magnetic coupled pumps have fewer moving parts, resulting in reduced maintenance needs and longer lifespans.
Additionally, the use of advanced materials and precision engineering in these pumps ensures consistent performance even under harsh operating conditions. This translates to increased uptime and productivity for industrial processes that rely on these pumps.
Process Pump ANSI to API 685 series PRM
General
Magnetic coupled Dickow-pumps of the series PRM according to API 685 are heavy duty sealless pumps. The containment shell forms a closed system to separate the pumped liquid from the atmosphere by confined gaskets. The equipment (including auxiliaries) is designed and constructed for a minimum service life of 20 years (excluding normal wear parts) and an uninterrupted operation of at least 3 years.
Applications
Magnetic coupled PRM-pumps improve plant and personnel safety and reduce maintenance costs, because 90% of these costs are caused by leaking seals.
