Dickow Pump has a long and extensive history with tanker truck unloading applications that initially started with underground tank unloading for aviation fuels. The HZS pumps were later mounted on mobile carts and ultimately tanker truck. The HZS is a multistage centrifugal pump with one side channel impeller that allows for the suction line to be purged of air and vapor. This design has seen the HZS become a preferred choice for fuel handling and loading and unloading applications at ports and chemical plants.

Why Quality Tanker Truck Unloading Pumps Are Vital
Across several specific applications and industries, high-quality tanker truck unloading pumps are essential in several ways:
- Safety: In many of the industries that rely on tanker truck unloading pumps, safety is a top priority. A low-quality pump can lead to accidents, spills, and other hazards that put workers and equipment at risk. By investing in a high-quality pump from a trusted manufacturer, you can help ensure the safety of your employees and operations.
- Efficiency: Time is money, especially in industries where liquid transport is necessary. High-quality tanker truck unloading pumps are designed for maximum efficiency, meaning they can move liquids quickly and reliably. With less downtime due to equipment malfunctions or slow pumps, businesses can save both time and money.
- Product Quality: The quality of the pumping equipment used during unloading can directly impact the quality of the product being transported. Low-quality pumps can lead to spills, contamination, and other issues that can compromise the integrity of the liquid being transported. By investing in high-quality tanker truck unloading pumps, businesses can maintain the quality of their products and protect their reputation.
- Customization Options: Every industry has different needs when it comes to liquid transport. High-quality tanker truck unloading pumps offer a range of customization options to fit specific needs and requirements. From different pump sizes and materials to various mounting options, businesses can choose the best pump for their unique operations.
- Durability: Investing in high-quality pumping equipment means longer-lasting equipment that requires less maintenance. This can lead to cost savings in the long run, as businesses won’t have to constantly replace or repair their pumps. In addition, durability also ensures that the pumping process is not interrupted due to equipment failure, which could result in delays and additional expenses.

Circulation Pumps Series NKX
General
The DICKOW-Standard pumps, series NKXs according to EN 733, are designed as centrifugal pumps of light duty for handling heat transfer media.
Dimensions and performance range comply with the requirements of EN 733. Thus, the performance range is subdivided such that best efficiency is granted at all service conditions.
Application
The NKXs pumps will be applied as circulating pumps in industrial heating plants. The performance range covers capacities up to 400 nf/h and differential heads up to 90 mLC in 50 cycles service.
The maximum allowable operating temperature PT is 340°C without additional cooling. The NKXs-pumps with the single acting N10q- seals can be applied when handling HTM with boiling pressure at operating temperature below the atmospheric pressure (<1 bar abs). -
NCL Medium Duty Centrifugal Pumps
The DICKOW® medium duty pump is designed for handling liquids in the chemical and petrochemical industry, in refineries, for heat transfer liquids etc.
Dimensions and performance range are developed in accordance to EN 22858 (ISO 2858). The whole range is so subdivided that for all service conditions the best efficiency is guaranteed. The maximum capacity goes up to 900 m³/h or 3960 US gpm.
With a wide selection of materials and shaft sealing systems they are suitable to handle nearly all kind of liquids which are usual in the above mentioned industries. For example we call light fuels (all kinds), acids, lye, solvents, hydrocarbons, heat transfer liquids, heavy fuel, liquid sulphur, melted plastics, bitumen etc.
For handling hot water above 190 ºC (375 ºF), our pump types NHL are available.

NHX Hot Water Circulation Centrifugal Pumps
Dickow NHX hot water circulation pumps have been developed for medium and large size heating plants, for calendars, presses, large buildings and similar applications which require temperatures > 140 °C (284 °F). The patented cooling and degassing system ensures cooler temperatures and a stable fluid film at the seal faces allowing for more reliable operations. The NHX does not require any external water cooling. The sleeve bearing behind the impeller reduces the radial loading seen on the pump shaft. NHX pumps can be offered for temperatures up to 220 °C (428 °F) and operating pressures of 40 bar (580 psi). Maximum capacity is 1,400 m 3 /hr (6,160 gpm) and a max differential head of 220 m (722 ft) is possible.
